Fagbokforlaget is a nationwide, independent publisher of literature, founded in 1992. We develop and distribute knowledge of high academic and educational quality, for use in teaching and professional growth for the entire training course, nursery, primary, secondary, adult and higher education.

Fagbokforlaget has its headquarters in Bergen, with offices in Oslo, Trondheim, Stavanger, Gdansk and Delhi.

Fagbokforlaget also publishes a number of journals, and provides distribution services for some smaller publishing companies.

Fagbokforlaget is the largest imprint in the Forlagshuset Vigmostad & Bjørke group. The group also comprises:

Terms of delivery

The following delivery rates apply to private customers placing orders with the imprints in the Forlagshuset Vigmostad & Bjørke group.

Delivery time

Delivery time is dependent on delivery method. We strive to deliver as quickly as possible.
Delivery of Government publications are up to seven days + mailing time (B-mail).
Postage and handling fee: NOK 40,- per shipment. Urgent delivery costs: NOK 91,-. If in stock, the publication will be sent as priority mail the same day as ordered.

Postage

Postage is calculated according the current postal service rates.

Delivery method (within Norway)

Parcels under one kilo are always sent as letters. Parcels over one kilo are dispatched as a ‘service parcel’ through the Postal service (Posten).

Carrier

Our packages are shipped with Posten. Service packages delivered to the nearest Post office or a ‘Post i Butikk’ (post office-in-store).

International orders

International orders are dispatched in collaboration with the Norwegian postal service (Posten) and in accordance with Posten’s rules and rates

Payment and credit check

An invoice with 14 days’ payment notice is dispatched together with the parcel. We reserve the right to carry out credit checks.
